Walking the halls in the hospital. This was the fish tank we went to see several times a day...
Walking along... slowly, but happy to be walking!
One of Dan's friends from the fire department brought Gunnar this Elmo balloon while he was still in the PICU and it was his favorite thing for the entire stay... he loved his Elmo!!! Here we are on our way for a wagon ride around the hospital.
We even ventured outside for some fresh air and sunshine!!!
See this face? This is a cookie eating face!
Another visit to the playroom... they were closed on Sunday, but we were there bright & early Monday. Gunnar woke up asking to go to the playroom. We did a few crafts....
Gunnar practiced his cutting skills....
Coloring his turkey that he made.... excuse his dirty face, it's all the goop that really needed a good bath to wash off.
And one of the turkey handprints he made....
One of the toys in the playroom... an Xray machine... I told him this was what it looked like when they took a picture of his heart. He was fascinated!
And we are out of there!!!! Here he is walking down the hall to leave!!!!
And all buckled into the carseat. Needless to say, Mom & Dad were a little nervous about that buckle right over his incision... We cushioned it with a pair of pants and didn't buckle it very tightly... he won't be in a car for a while....
And back at home... Playing with some of his new toys.... in our own "playroom".. the gameroom.
