Taking medicine

Gunnar got sick just a few days ago. Horrible sick. He had pink eye in both eyes, double ear infections and strep throat. He had a fever for 4 days, and a cough that just wouldn't quit. We took him to the pediatrician and she gave him an antibiotic shot in the thigh to gave him a kick start. It must have worked because he started to feel better that afternoon! He was a little tired and mopey for another day or two, but he bounced back very quickly! For the first time since we have been in Texas, he was really sick and did not try to starve himself!!! We were so proud of him! We took a few pictures of him taking his medicine just so we could remember how much fun we had!!!

He knows it's coming... puts his entire hand in his mouth!


Mom has to use both hands to trap his hands and his feet...


AND, Dad had to add his hands to hold Gunnar down!


We use our 'counting method' for medicine too, and when he had swallowed the entire syringe, he said "ALL DONE!!!"
