Our new patio....

So, we have been talking about making our patio bigger since we moved into the house last year. Our back patio was so small, we couldn't move... we had to squeeze through to get to the grill. And with as much as we love to barbeque & be outside, it was something Dan had been really really wishing for... so again, we worked more overtime (have I mentioned that I haven't seen much of my husband this past month?). And here it is....

Dan talked to the guys one evening, and the next day they were in our backyard... here's the first day of work.








The next day, they were supposed to pour. They didn't show.

The next day, they were pouring the foundation at the house nearby (they were supposed to do ours after it) so we stopped by to check on things. They said they'd be at our house in 2 hours. We ran out to run a quick errand, and came home to a poured patio! I was bummed because I wanted to take pictures of the truck & all... but, I pretty much came home to a completed project. So we took the after pictures....









It's hard to tell, but they destroyed our yard (we were expecting some damage). So we have a lot of work ahead of us to repair the damage... and... they backed the bobcat thing into our brand new swingset!!!! OHHHHHHH... We were devastated when we saw 2 cracks in each of the support beams!!! But we were able to order new boards from the company, so all will be good.

Anyways.. a huge project completed, but it only gave us more work... but it sure was nice to hang out in the 99 degree weather tonight for a bit... hehe...

The doggies sure did love it!
